Latvia accounting compliance requirements

Latvia made structured e-invoice reporting to the State Revenue Service (VID) mandatory for government-related transactions from 1 January 2026, and after the Saeima voted in June 2025 to extend the timeline, the equivalent B2B e-invoicing and reporting mandate now takes effect on 1 January 2028.
